re: Does Miles make $5 million now?

First off, I didn't know Alabama fans came on this board every other day asking this question.. It was printed like that in an Alabama newspaper awhile ago.. I am sure that is why we have it in our heads..
I just thought about it when I was reading an article on Texas.. Sorry for bothering you

Thanks guys.. I just misunderstood the situation.. Appreciate it.. And yea, I think it is insane that Mack gets $5 mil. Who couln't win there?
Does Miles make $5 million now?

Ok.. I was just thinking about Mack Brown getting a raise to $5 mil. Doesn't Miles have a clause in his contract that will pay him like a thousand dollars more than the top paid coach in the country? Or was that just in the SEC? I remember when CNS got his raise, Miles' salary topped him by like a thousand dollars.. Is this correct?
I wish we would just fire all the SEC officials and start over... I don't know what else to do.. Hell.. We booed them the whole game.. We got ripped off on the first play with the replay booth..
Agree^^^^
I dont know... Maybe they are just total dumba$$es.. I admit.. It was bad.. Only logic I can come up with is because the call on the field was incomplete they couldn't find enough evidence to overturn it.. Dont know how or why... But I didn't know why Green or Scott for that matter got flagged for celebration.. Don't know why Arkansas was called for a personal foul against Florida.. Don't know why they suck.. Just know they do.. There were several bad calls go against Bama in the game too..

Guys.. I don't know how my opinion will be accepted.. But have you ever considered the fact that the SEC officials just suck as a whole to everyone.. But Bama and Florida are just a little bit better overall than the other SEC teams so they are able to overcome the bad calls? Cause seriously, Alabama was robbed of a 17-yard completion on the first play of the game..
It was ruled incomplete and the replay wouldn't work.. But he was in.. There were several plays where Peterson could have been called for PI on Julio.. I am just saying.. Is this not possible?? Cause remember.. Just last week Auburn was convinced the SEC was cheating for you guys during that game.. Same situation with the UGA fans after Greene was flagged for celebration..
I think the reason things seem so bad now is because everyone is really looking.. We have known for many years the SEC officials SUCK.. But now, after every game.. People are reviewing photos looking for missed penalties.. And video.. And so on.. Am I completely out of line with my thinking??
And just for the record.. I think the INT was a bad call.. I did not think there was a chance that it would end up favorable for Bama.. Hell.. I had my headset on and Eli Gold even said it was an INT..

I'm sitting here thinking.. And I did come up with a possible explanation.. Maybe this could have happened.. The LSU fans started off the chant in support of the players.. Some students flipped them off.. Then they started pointing back and doing all their other cheers in retaliation (spelling sucks I know)of the FEW rude students.. And the rest of the student section got pulled in.. So there is one possible situation.. That is not Bama biased :) But I can tell you everyone around me and everyone else I could see was not doing anything rude..
Ok.. Was gonna bow out.. But one last time.. There were only like 10-25 LSU fans along the bottom row of the upper deck.. They could not be heard except when the stadium was quite due to injuries.. When the injuries happened.. The students would sit down, pissed at our team.. And they would start their LSU chants.. Same page now?? Look.. It was an emotional game all around.. It was a big football game.. I am sure plenty of people showed their arse.. I just wanted to put out the other side of the story on why there was cheering during the injury timeouts..
But I bow out.. You win  I don't have the officials here to cut me a break  And that was not me just throwing out compliments about Peterson.. I was amazed.. I kept saying everytime he went down, "no way that kid comes back".. And time after time he was right back in there.. It was amazing.. And I am sorry about Scott... He is a beast..
Were you there?? I am telling you the LSU fans above us were not chanting LSU for the hurt player.. They were pointing at us and rubbin in the fact that yall were beating us.. That is why I and the majority of the students started cheering.. I cant speak for the FU's and birds and whatnot.. That was wrong.. Do you not understand what I am saying??? I don't agree with those things.. But the LSU fans above us were not just cheering in support of their hurt player... I saw their actions with my own eyes just like you saw some classless students
So it was okay for LSU to cheer and taunt the students but not okay for the students to respond??
And when it first started.. LSU had just went up 15-10.. The students and everyone was pissed off at Greg McElroy.. Everyone was sitting down pissed off. And here come the LSU chants from above.. Did it cause some bad reactons?? I am sure it did.. But the majority had fun with it.. And the LSU fans above us seemed to be enjoying it too.. It lasted the rest of the game..
Ok.. Never said it was sportsmanship.. It was just fun.. Were some of the 17 or 18 year old drunk kids flippin off the LSU fans above them directing cheers at them?? NO DOUBT.. Was it classless.. NO DOUBT.. I am only talking about the Ala-Bama cheers and the Roll Tides.. Thats it.. Thats all I am speaking of..
I was just kidding when I said I would speak for the 40,000 fans around me.. lol.. And I'm not a student.. I am 29.. I did go to Bama though.. I was actually there with about 5 LSU fans from Lafayette... And sorry ghostface. I am not a scum.. Were there scum in the stadium.. More than likely.. But I bet there was LSU scum there too..
But I understand.. Without you seeing exactly what happened, you will not understand.. And neither would I if the same happened and you tried to explain to me.. But I am being honest here.. Were there some fans that were just booing a player being hurt? Probably...Maybe.. I cant say because I don't know.. But I do know what the student section was doing because I was right there.. Looking around in amazement.. And it was just the students doing the Ala-Bama cheer.. The ones in the end zone would say Ala.. And the ones in the corner would say Bama..
TigerJeux.. I can only speak for me and the other 40,000 students around me ;-).. But we were all turned toward the section above us..Not even looking at the field..The player(s) would go down.. The LSU fans behind us would start their cheers.. So it was fair game to respond.. It had nothing to do with the hurt players.. HEll.. We were all just in shock at how the LSU players kept coming back.. Especially Peterson.. He is a warrior..
Thanks.. I try to be rational :pimp: But I do have to take up for the students somewhat in this situation.. Because it was all fun with the LSU fans above us.. I think you guys should find those fans and give em' hell. Cause LSU had really taken the energy out of the stadium after the TD in the third quarter.. But those fans woke up the stadium again.. lol.. Cause the students got going again and the rest followed..
And man.. I wish I would have recorded it with my camera :) :nana:
Hahahaha.. Well I was wrong.. The only booing I remember on the last drive is when they started doing the Gator chomp.. I am sure there were some idiot fans booing the hurt player.. Some folks are just retarded.. But I do know that several times when the stadium got quite due to injuries, that LSU fans above us started doing chants and pointing at us.. So we responded.. Thats all I can take up for
