This week has gone by so slow. I feel like the clock is moving at the speed of a salted snail on a mid august hot arse slab of concrete. But its my friday and the pregaming starts today at 4:00. Here is to a damn good football game and lots of beer drinking.

Don’t be. I’ve learned to not get too excited for this game because I’m tired of being tremendously let down. I just hope we play competitively.

I’m predicting a 30-29 final score with Bama winning and giving us a week of rest while Bama plays in Atlanta.

I'm oddly relaxed but completely unfocused on other aspects of life

Its like I'm high or something, on LSU football

Trying to stay focused on work so hard to do. I keep envisioning Burrow and Brady embarrassing Ala’s young defense, and Burrow bring jacked up going to the sidelines every time after LSU scores a TD!

I'm working and being productive. Because I have to be, not because I want to be. I even have to work Saturday but I'm leaving before kickoff

I'll be focused with far less effort once this game is over.

You younguns need to breathe deeply and concentrate on a happy life. Only one fan group gets to celebrate at the end. Playing well should be your wish. Winning is just part of the great entity that is College Football . Now give me a 2 minute childs pose.

I get where you're coming from and normally I take that advice.

However, this week feels different and I've been reading books on trusting your instincts so I'm still amped up.

YOLO!

I agree, this week and this year DOES feel different. I just refuse to allow myself to get worked up over this game given how much I was CONVINCED we'd win in previous years only to be left scratching my head at the end of the game wondering what the hell happened to the LSU football team I had watched every week before that game.

I'm just going into damage control before it starts. That way if we win it'll be that much sweeter for me
