He wasn't hired to build us up, he was hired to win games...which he has done...more than any other coach in 5 years.

not according to all the pre-game chatter, no question sabab took the program to another level, therefore...

...is wrong, no elite coach was knocking on our door before then, and with the reception that miles got, you can't expect many to do so now.

Maybe I'm looking at the wrong post but I don't see where he ever insinuated that.

Other than that, it's crickets.

You can add me to the list. Since Les is the most successful coach in history, are you saying you are not satisfied with any coach in LSU history? Also I see a lot of these "Les sucks threads" can somebody offer coaching solutions?

I'm pleased with the way he ran spring practice, which is the last thing I know of besides recruiting, which is nearly always phenomenal.

There were moments last season that I was NOT happy with him, but that's the past. I live in the present

LOL, the guy you are calling an Idiot has made more in one year than you can expect to in your life. What a joke, he's an idiot

Let's see, degree, you got one? (GED doesnt count)
Won BCS championship? Hmm that's a very short list.
10 win seasons at LSU? damn a really short list
Top 10 recruiting classes? Man Les nailed you again.
Years earning 100k + $'s? I'm only guessing but chances are he's got you there too.

Face it calling him an idiot really makes you look small

Nick Saban took us from a middle tier program to a national powerhouse. He built us up. Dont you even try to argue that Les Miles did the same.

2000 Nick Saban 8-4
2001 Nick Saban 10-3
2002 Nick Saban 8-5
2003 Nick Saban 13-1
2004 Nick Saban 9-4
2005 Les Miles 11-2
2006 Les Miles 11-2
2007 Les Miles 12-2
2008 Les Miles 8-5
2009 Les Miles 9-4

Jou're just pissed cuz we're not having 11 win seasons b2b2b. Stick the 8-5 and 9-4 between the 11-2s and 12-2, compare with Saban, then get back to me.
Doesn't look so bad?

Cue the Miles won with Saban's players and the program is regressing responses.

We had 3 losses in 2004, including the disaster ending to the bowl game.

No, but willing to give him ths year. 8 or more wins he stays no matter what I want. 6 wins or less, he will be ask to resign. If the upcoming year repeats it's self and time management still loses games, he may resign on his own. I'd be happier if he shuts up all his critics including myself. I want LSU to win no matter who the coach is.

If it was everything to do with Saban's players, with the Ghost of Saban coaching them, seems like '05 shoulda been MNC year, '06 a bit down and '07 a complete bust, since Miles is so clueless as what to do with a football.
Funny the reverse was true?
The '05 team was immediately better than Saban's last year, improved again in '06 and won it all '07 in spite of the loads of crap Miles was teaching.
That Ghost of Saban can make you forget all that stupid Miles teaching and just remember stuff from Frosh year under the Great One.
