I think he will be indicted on the lesser charge of Simple Battery.

I would be happy to pay for that.

Can I record it and watch it later?

Think the case has enough evidence to go to trial.

Unfortunately true. Doubt at trial means acquittal. However, doubt at grand jury means it proceeds.

Correct. I am with you, unfortunately I think there will be a felony indictment.

Unglesby will only plea it down if it allows Jefferson to return to LSU football. Otherwise, there's no reason to plea. He beats this thing easily at trial.

People who think Lewis will plea this down don't know him. Hillar knows it won't be plead. Lewis is a smart and a relentless fighter. Thats why you hire him. He will win this case easily!

Honestly, I think the GJ will have enough to indict him or give a no true bill. It really all comes down to how they're feeling that particular day.

Depends if Hillar wants it to go to trial or not. If it goes to trial, Hillar hates LSU. If it doesn't go to trial, Hillar loves LSU.

Then there's your answer. It won't go to trial.

on the record as no true bill. Unless there is evidence that hasn't been discussed publicly yet I don't think there is enough.

Surprised that many people think a no true bill will happen

Why surprised?

No DNA or hard evidence, questionable witness credibility = exonerated

How many cases actually go no true bill? Do we know of all the evidence at this point?

JJ redshirts this year with Mett backing up Lee.

Next year Mett and JJ truly split snaps as LSU's "White Ligthning Passing Attack and Black Thunder Legs" drive us to a second straight undefeated MNC.

Personally, I think Jefferson gets indicted. The burden of proof is too low to not get indicted
Funny you say this.
We likely don't have info on all the evidence, but there must be a considerable lack of it to go to GJ.
I get the feeling prosecution actually have nothing at all for an indictment but statements fingering 2 players with same initials, from those heavily invested in the outcome.
I think I'd laugh heartily while throwing it out.

Also I find it odd you revealed your vote, and reasoning for it, in the poll.
Probably not done purposely, but not exactly a "scientific" poll when this could be seen as suggestive.
