None of it is over the top. These guys practiced these plays. They ended the season poorly and they came to play. Why should they be held back for an arbitrary opinion that it shouldn't be done. God Bless them - let them have their fun!

We did the same thing to Miami in 2005. GT can either bend over or stop us.

Like I said, I don't want LSU to become UF and Les to be Urban, what made Les great from day 1 is that he won with class. I get that we needed to regain respect and get JJ some realtime experience, but at some point you have to draw the line, passing is the line, fake punt is crossing it

Fake punt justly deserved. Talk crap about your bowl opponent like they don't belong on the same field as you and then just get drummed in front of your home crowd.

The fake punt was to get a 1st down and to burn clock. Les did the exact same thing vs Notre Dame and Miami. I dont think the bombs are ok however

Quit trying to defend this distasteful gesture. If you wanna keep the ball then run it and hope to get a first down. A gimmick play is just salt in the wounds of an already defeated team.
I wouldn't like it if anyone did that to my team, so I'm not gonna turn a blind eye just because LSU did it.
But ah well, it's not THAT big a deal in the big picture.
