Did you bother to read the link? All the guys you named report to Steve Shaw, Alabama graduate. And several games where Ritter fricked us cake while his daughter was a student there. Way more connection than the poor sap in the OP holding up a t-shirt he found in a store on an overseas trip. Where people are born and/or currently live is pretty immaterial to potential conflicts.

That logo is an abortion. Hard to believe someone actually got paid for that.
Oh they did. I remember they came and talked in one of my business classes, I was respectful though and didn't interrupt by saying frick you for that and anyone that paid y'all.

I can't see how anyone thinks that a 5-year old post of the guy holding up an LSU shirt in a store somehow impacts the game on Saturday. Is that all they have? That's pathetic that they are trying to allege the game is tainted in some way.
I agree with the LSU fans on this topic. However, I have to wonder how this board would have reacted if he was holding a Florida Gators shirt five years ago and had worked the game last Wednesday night.

A picture from 5 years ago holding up a shirt in a store doesn't prove anything at all. Do they have anything else? I heard someone say there was a disparity of fouls called but it all goes to the style of play - LSU drives to the basket looking to pick up fouls. Tennessee was content to hit jump shots, which they were doing quite well.
They are nothing like what LSU fans see every year when playing Bama in football and certainly no where near the garbage no call at the end of the NFC championship game.
So, I say again, their objections are weak, and frankly pathetic.

If they got rid of sec football refs and officials with connections to bama they would have to get rid of almost all of them.
Dont let this guy ref anymore sec games then use the same criteria for football starting with steve shaw
