OFFICIAL FLORIDA TAILGATING THREAD !!!!

ok, here is the latest...me and 9 friends are definately going and we have our tickets. we are leaving slidell thursday night, october 9th. we should get to gainesville early early friday morning. we are staying at the La Quinta Inn, just a few miles from the stadium.

I'm going to the game with some fellow LSU alums that live in Tampa. Flying there Thursday night...driving into Gainesville Saturday morning.

Holy shite - not too sure I can take another weekend - I'm just getting back to feeling better...but Gainesville is only 5 hours.
On a side note - Gainesville PD is pretty rough for visiting fans...they actaully enfore open container laws (if you wear Purple or Gold)

I am staying at the La Quinta as well, we have a parking spot, and a tailgating party with Gator Friends, We have a cooker on a trailer, frying catfish. If you have someone not going. let me know and I will buy any tickets.

i plan on bringing mostly everything we need for the tailgating. we are taking at least 2 cars, maybe 3, so we will have a grill with us. we plan on stopping at the store right in gainesville to get the food and lots of beer.
the Laquinta Inn just a few miles from the stadium still has some rooms available for that weekend if anyone needs one.

nice jason. i was with tigerfan behind you guys by the beer pong tables. we got there early on. got a group of 4 going to florida with me. we are flying in though so will not be able to bring all of our tailgate stuff, so we will be looking for somewhere to go. will definitely get with you closer to the game, and will pitch in for some supplies.
also saw you are going to south carolina. we are making that trip also and going to the saints game.

well we are driving to b'ham thursday night, then driving to columbia friday morning. so we should have a tent and beer pong, and possibly a grill for the south carolina game, so we will be doing some tailgating.
