24th rounder Beasley signs
“Beasley will receive a signing bonus of $257,500.
$132,500 of that will count against the bonus pool. #Brewers #MLBDraft”
That knocks the total they can give Turang down to $3,481,195.“

That puts them at slightly over $3.4MM left for Turang.
Their budget if they don't sign Turang is down to $316,915 remaining above the $125k.
ETA: If Cabell's number is $441K or less, they could sign him without any issues related to Turang. If they don't get Turang, they get a comp pick next year.

Cabell strikes me as a guy if his # is $500,000.00 he would probably take between 4-5 to sign if Milwaukee wants him at that price.

Are you counting the 5% overage of 6.6m or 3.5m? That 5% overage is worth half as much if they lose Turang pool
Posted on 7/3/18 at 3:10 pm to bugafor6
LOL, I would have to take the 3.4 but that’s just me.

There’s 30 pages of people explaining why they would take the money. We don’t care, just positivity and facts in this thread from now on

Hilarious a ton of EF Hutton mother frickers on this thread. Really? Most don't have a pot to piss in and there giving Brice advice. Amusing... what they would do.
