There is an issue here.

No offense, but you'd have to be an idiot to place position coaching of TEs over offensive scheme when evaluating the lack of production at the TE position.

Wilkerson was undersized.

It's actually Kevin Mawae.....belowpar text me.
I've been calling for that for some time. Needed change, but not as bad as the one on defense.

Ace midnight is a classic ranter. Ben was starting as a 255lb true freshman because of his size.

I would wonder how much Cam had to do with the WR's development this year as opposed to AHenry's.

The WRs didn't develop a whole lot from last year. Their increased production was due to other factors, but mainly due to better Oline performance. OBJ and Landry were NFL ready receivers a year ago.

Think they definately developed under Henry, and became better route runners, and definately more focused and consistent when catching the ball.

Exactly! Anyone who takes anything he says with a grain of salt, will die of food poisoning. He is so extremely biased that anything he says has to be suspect. He is like a caricature.

LBers were clearly our weakest unit this year

Not clear to me. IMO Kwon and Barrow were All SEC caliber. Welter was a little below par, but no where near as bad as he was made out to be. Our worst unit was the Dline which made the rest of the D look worse.

OBJ had the drops early last year. Landry never did. By the end of last year the drops were nearly eliminated. So, no, they didn't improve under Henry. Route running? How would you know?

This happens over and over again. An oline or dline gets better or worse and the uninformed think that the ability of every other player drastically changed. Line play is the foundation for success in football. Without that building block it's hard to evaluate other positions.

Agree somewhat Penrod. The one thing that Coach Cam emphasized when asked about reducing the number of sacks was to make sure players understood who was responsible for the sacks. Cam said the receivers have first responsibility because they need to get separation so the QB can get rid of the ball quickly. Second is the QB because they have to make the decision and throw the ball. Third responsibility was on the OL because they can only hold their blocks so long. All that to say, the receivers may have been coached under Henry, but Cam brought in a different philosophy and taught everyone how to play their position better.

Just need someone that will teach technique. Tired of the false starts in the 12th game of the season. I believe that is all that separates our OL from being elite compared to the gumps.
