Anyway, I like having a running QB, if he's used right. Gives you more options.

Washington has a great qb, polk and SC former offensive and d Coordinaters.

FL tenn is not a good analogy. Fl would destroy
USC.

Usc struggled with a very weak Ohio team that in the past has been mauled by the SEC.

I promise you will not hang a hundred and may LOSE.

Well, Les does get advice from me, and I told him we clearly needed to see more of Scott up the middle.

...and less of Trindon up the middle.

LOL. You're using OSU's past (which happened 2-3 years ago) to say USC's win was not that impressive, but you're not using the past that Wash won 0 games ONE year ago when talking about Wash-USC.

when USC hung 70, then half a hundred on Arky and shut out AU at Jordan Hare, did the collective rant put that mugh weight on those games relative to LSU and other SEC teams?

or was there rationalization after rationalization?

Navy went 8-5 last year. OSU held them to their lowest rushing total in 5 years. A bonehead coaching mistake allowed them back in the game.

How did UW do last year?

I love these LSU fans trying to make themselves feel better hoping that UW gives USC a game and talking about how Navy played OSU close. They are talking teams two and three times removed from an LSU vs wheoever natchup.

But, did you watch the game? OSU controlled the game except for the final drive.

USC first scoring drive...3 yards on 4 plays.

Stats..

313 total yards with 87 yards on the last poss.

Barkley 15/31 for 195 yds.
Mcknight 16 carries for 60 yards.

Controlled the game?

Ohio State had 117 yds in the final 3 qtrs and 10 first downs for the entire game.Control?

Speaking of stats: OSU

265 yds

88 yds rushing 2.9avg

27:33 TOP to 32:27 USC

So, lemme get this straight. Fewer first downs, yds, and TOP = controlling the game?

Got it!

That game was about defense, which is something LSU has forgotten to play since Saban left.

Don't forget, the last drive, which lasted over six minutes does not count.

I like USC's better. I don't like the QB running. If the QB is running, that means, Williams, Tolliver, Lafell, Scott are not running.

terrible logic. having a running QB can open up the offense.
