Alabama has SHUT DOWN our running game of a couple of years now with one of the most powerful backs to ever play college football. I predict they are going to shut it down again this year unless we can move the chains via the air. imo, their front 7 is the best in college ball. I don't know how to buy Etling more time but we have to throw it to win. the only other chance is to confuse them enough with the misdirection to knock off some runs.

Our line got manhandled. It doesn't matter who is running the ball when your center and guards are pushed a couple yards the wrong way before the ball is even exchanged. I'm sorry but that's not on Leonard.

I don't think Grimes was the issue. It's hard to get push when the defense knows exactly where that push is going. Now that we have a little imagination and variety in the run game defenses are less likely to know which way it's coming.

Holes are not as gaping as I'm used to seeing.

Could be the scheme. Could be the freshmen. We will see.
