FWIW this is a year I'd take the over comfortably with LSU - I'd say 9-3 in spite of a difficult schedule

Vegas odds makers also said we were 9 point underdogs if we played USC in 2003. And who has the trophy??!!

We won't lose more than 2 games with our talent.

Talent - we think we have talent. Other teams have as much, if not more talent PLUS they have coaches that know what they are doing.

Another year or two? Seriously? It takes four fricking years to get a QB?

We will continue to invest coaching time and playing time in a closed investment fund (JJ) that has little upside, so yep.

So you're saying we'll lose the other 7 games, too?

He took over after the 04 "mediocre" season. Mediocre being your description of any 9 win season with a non-Top 15 finish and had 3 elite ranking seasons in a row with ranking around Top 5 level and above.

No, he took over a team that was loaded at practically every position, a consensus top 5/10 preseason pick for 2005, and ready to explode after ONE rebuilding season in which it had been cheated by refs at Auburn out of going 10-1 and winning the SEC West. He turned it into a program that has gone .500 in the SEC over the past two years and counting, and is picked to go 7-5 this year by people who will let you bet your house against them if you think they're wrong.

Maybe we could make many more negative LSU threads before the season..

That be great.

We could say how much we hate Miles and how much the team sucks..

Isnt that what other teams fans do???

It's popular with the Chill'rens 'O da Rant. Who needs that #1 Recruiting 2011 recruiting class anyway? Couple of once every 10+ years players on there. But..."It's bess fo' da LSU Tigrahs....brah".

Have to give credit where it is due. Except for above average recruiting, Miles is not even close to being a top tier college coach.
His predecessor may have been a d=ck but he recruits, develops and has good game day.
Miles is below average in 2 of those 3 areas.
We are got fools gold and the rest of the country knows it. Nobody fears playing LSU right now. Nobody.

"Obviously we feel pretty bad about the way we performed today. I feel bad for the players. The only thing we can when things go wrong, and it's something that's a little embarrassing for you. You have to be a bigger man about it, but you have to learn from your mistakes. And we made plenty of them today. We had far too many penalties, we had the ball three times in the red zone and didn't get any points out of it at all. We dropped a lot of footballs and gave up field position time and time again because of penalties."

"I know everybody is going to say, Why didn't you sit on it at the ball.' We called four streaks in the end of the game. You are supposed the throw the check-down if they bail out and play 20-yards deep, which they were. I've gone the length of the field with 35-seconds to go in the game, especially to kick a field goal. We could have dumped the ball down to Dominick Davis and let him run for 10 or 15-yards. We had two timeouts. Maybe we can get it close enough that we need one play to kick a field goal. We didn't have to go the length of the field, we only had to go about 50-yards. "

"We've done it before, we've done it at Michigan St. before and we have just as good skill guys here. If you want to second guess it, I'll be the first to do it. There was no out route on the play. So there is no way that ball could have been delivered there. It was either throw it deep or throw the out route. We didn't get it executed."

LSU goes 8-4, Crowton and The Hat are gone after this year. Then you guys get someone ridiculous and shite gets real scary down in Baton Rouge.
