Obvious question: is O in command of this roster?

Yes, we had a lot of talent. So do the best teams.
We lost an unusual number of under class men to the draft.
Now we are hemorrhaging top players like no other program in the country.
Why?
No need for typical home town defensiveness or purple and gold glasses.
No need for overreaction.
But something is going on with this program that is unlike other championship programs.

Jesus Christ bro... good players leave to get paid. That’s how this always has worked. Better players leave sooner. It should be a goal at LSU to have all juniors leave for the pros because they’re good enough.

Being a players coach has its downside. We’re seeing it firsthand now.

Was he in control of last year’s roster?

Maybe BLM has taken over the sports at LSU and the nation. They are the head coach. I mean everything seems to be an influence by them to walk the line.

Those teams aren’t as talented as this one, also this group just accomplished the greatest season in college history, what else do they have to prove?

You are correct. Something is going on behind the scenes. Many think it’s about to get sticky over this Guice BS.

You might want to consider this advice for yourself.

I think O is fine

CFB is simple. You must replace what you lose.

LSU has recruited well as a whole but IMO lost too much over the past 2 years(experience, chemistry, depth) to be a viable threat for the SEC title this year

recruiting and development should be our top goals this season

get Brennan some experience and confidence and fill in the gaps as well as we can elsewhere.

Combine that with a bomb recruiting class/maybe a few more JUCOs and LSU can attempt to rebound strongly in a hopefully more normal 2021 season

Well, I think at least 3 factors will tell the tale;

1. Do the opt outs continue
2. Are the players giving 100% effort in practice and the
games
3. Do we maintain our #3 ranked recruiting class through
early signing day

Many have doubted O before and he's delivered a National Championship via a perfect 15 - 0 season.

My money's on O.

There's about 3-4 "contenders". Way to go out on a limb.
