Bottom line: LSU would still be 7-1 had Lee been the starter all year(and the team still failed miserably at Au) and JJ not played at all. On the other hand without JL playing the team has 3 losses now instead of one. Lee has outperformed Jefferson this season, Saturday's game notwithstanding.
You are so right. We would definitely have 3 losses without JL. It really didn't matter who we had at QB against Auburn because our OL was awful. JL should have started playing much earlier this year. He may not be a great QB but JL is the best chance we have at winning.

Well Jordan certainly isn't the answer. He is beneath awful. He has almost no true QB skills.
On that first AU drive, he didn't throw a single pass with precision. The one play where he threw behind TT almost got Toliver decapitated and he nearly threw a pick prior to the pick. And to those saying RR should have caught the ball thrown as a pick, you're only correct that it was catchable, but not by much. It would have been a great catch had he pulled it down but it was considerably too high.
JJ makes bad reads and bad throws. 17 consecutive drives without a TD says it all!

Typical overreaction. J. Lee may not be the answer but there is no way in hell anyone could say he isn't with the limited time he has had.
He is the only pocket passer on the team. He has to be a good part of the answer or LSU is screwed down the stretch.

You gathered that from him being on his back and looking through his ear hole most of the game???? He is better than JJ though and that's all that needs to be said. Normal coaches start the better player and give him the snaps so he can gel with the team and grown, but this coach doesn't do things that way.

I take nothing from the frickign Auburn game. Are you seriously using the Auburn game to state why Lee is not the answer?
fricking weak. How about using the entire season as a whole.. Jefferson is among the worst rated starting qb's in the entire NCAA.

Until JL gets a chance to start a game, how can anyone say how he plays. Just like its already been stated, it doesnt take a great Defensive coordinator to know what LSU is going to do when he comes in after JJ gives the other team the lead. START JL! Im tired of hearing how great a fricking runner JJ is! Hell if he's that great let him run track!

LSU would possibly higher up in the rankings, and you don't know that they would be 7-1. Jefferson turned the ball over first possession after we were marching right down the field and had previously held AU to a 3 and out.. You never know how things may have played out.

"We need to sign 4 QBs and 8 OL this year and most importantly, fire the entire offensive staff and start completely over."
This.

Observation #2: Your observation #1 fails!
I posted it below. Credit to Ashy Larry.

Did anyone notice on the final fourth down - sure the play broke down and Tolliver whiffed a block atthe end, but after he scrambled and was running left, Lee had a shot at a first down and just sort of fell away from the defender and lost a yard. If he puts his head down, accelrates and stretches, he might just get the first down.
