Sammy you can't possibly think Houston would do that against the schedule lsu played. Houston probably didn't play a top 30 defensive team, maybe 1...if that. LSU played 7 or 8. Im a defensive coach, or was. If you watch big12 football it is a joke. They play zero defense. Apples to oranges and if you are being honest you know it. Was lsu great, no, but given their limitations they overachieved imo.

As for the OL coach, yes, but if you have basically zero returning starters, and have like 7 new lineups in 7 games, I think you could see the potential issue with no continuity. I think the Ingram loss was huge. JMO. I think you'll see a big step up in the ol next year, but it was so bad it can only go up

What the frick? After ZERO ZERO AND A WORN arse OUT DEFENSE BECAUSE OF LACK OF STARTERS AT TAMU. THE DEFENSE SCORED THE TYING TOUCHDOWN.
I BET HE LEFT IN THAT TD THE DEFENSE SCORED AT TAMU IN HIS frickING NUMBERS.

Anyone with any level of objectivity knows that inconsistencies on the OL were a huge reason for we lost to Florida and couldn't get anything going against Bama.

No but Houston plays teams with comparable talent to them, just like LSU plays teams with comparable talent to them.

Clearly an improvement from 65th to 4th shows some improvement in their offense from last year, even with the same probably weaker schedule. The point is, good offenses can flourish quickly. They need to in college. You can’t spend a year saying “well it’s
A new offense they don’t get it yet” that’s a OC problem.

You know if we take out the bama game and Florida game and Texas ATM game, we went undefeated. That's pretty good guys

Since I've seen this twice I checked.

We played 5. Miami, Miss St, Bama, GA, Fla.

I'm counting the entirety of the season. Even if you didn't count the OTs, they finished ahead of us. You're not very good at this.

Wow. Are you retarded?

I may be mistaken, but I think lsu had top in the a&m game, and I'm certain they gave up a 70 yard to drive in less than 30 seconds. They may of been worn out in overtime. Not regulation. Yes guy, the lsu offense scored the go ahead td in the fourth quarter. Defense could hold. Fact.

Oh so you are counting non conference games. I'm counting common opponents basically, only in conference, except of course the two crossover games were against much better teams than a&m played.

Thing is, if the defense was great, wouldn't they be creating 3 and outs as well. I saw way too many 3rd and Chavis type moments this year.

I'm not saying the defense was bad, but for Greedy to make the comment that the ONLY thing separating LSU and Bama was on the offense, isn't correct.

I think LSU loses the Bama game before the ball is even kicked off. They seem intimidated to me.

The defense was elite outside of a key thing. Pass rushers.

The offense was good except for passing, running, blocking and receiving

The defense had to score a TD to ties the game.

Special teams handed them the ball back inside the 30.

Offense was ok not good in regulation.

Unlike you, I'm actually being objective. I'm not cherry picking things to make an argument. The numbers are what they are. Our offense was not good objectively.

Just curious, do you feel the defense was elite objectively?

Again, I don't think either side was elite but I'm willing to listen.

I'm not sure why you're hung up on elite. Well, i do know why you are. You just want to downplay the effectiveness of the defense to prop up the offense. Not sure why
