We were 22 in scoring D nationally with 7 OTs

We were 44 s scoring offense nationally with 7 OTs

In regulation the defense flies up to 13 and the offense drops to fricking 72.

Let’s keep pretending like one wasn’t a significantly bigger issue than the other.

With 7 OTs and an extra 5 TDS scores there in, we are still 65th in the country in TDs.

I think it is reasonable to expect a big improvement in the offense next year, given we return everyone and add some elite rbs, plus get our pass catching TE back.

Everyone sucked this year, and they’re all back so we should greatly improved.

I agree with that. I expect our offense to improve dramatically to be fair.

We were not good enough this year though. Not even close.

It’s doesnt matter “If” he has done a great job! If the Defense has a bad game or hit with injuries, LSU will not win with a team that puts a lot points w/ E.. End of discussion!

Our d was middle of the pack secw. The numbers don't lie, on offense or defense. This wasn't an opinion, but rather facts based upon data. The haters don't like it

You're right, the numbers do not lie.

Defense - 3rd in Conference in S&P+ (14th Nationally)

Offense - 11th in Conference in S&P+ (53rd Nationally)

I think we're done here.

I agree Greddy was most of the year, but the defense as a whole was not. The reason we lost to Bama was 2 fold and pretty obvious.

1. We sucked on offense in that game.
2. Defense gave up 29 points and were dominated at times.

Greedy gave up plays as well, to me a winning attitude is......the offense failed to score but as a defense we need to play better. I don't think teams improve by passing the buck and not owning it.

In the end, I just want to see us compete with those gumptards. I live in NC and I can't even wear LSU colors without the stupid Gump bullshite..

And not to mention, you took out the team that LSU needs to start beating!

Sammy I'm beginning to think you either aren't very bright, or you just troll. I love when you compare offenses of other teams to ours, teams from other conferences that didn't play a single top 30 defensive team, much less 8 of them. That's why it's more relevant to compare yourself to teams that played essentially the same schedule. You're an idiot if you don't think lsu would have been ranked significantly higher if they played in another conference such as big12. Hell, Washington is going to the Rose bowl and Auburn beat them. In the secw, lsu averaged more points per game than everyone but Alabama. It's almost like you ignore the defenses that LSU played. Look them up, 7 or 8 out of 12 we're good to very good defenses.

We both agree the offense needs to improve. With everyone returning they should

Holy fricking shite.

The defense is the only reason that game wasn't even more embarrassing.

We couldn't run the ball. You have to be able to run

Defense did ok. Bama put up a lot of yards but scored 29, which was low for them.

Bama's NT was way better than LSU's center. Georgia's center was good enough to neutralize Bama's NT allowing Georgia's passing game to open their running game and vice verse for LSU vs Georgia.

Do you think the defense gives up 500 if our offense could have done anything?

You've overplayed your hand. You intentions are now obvious.

Sammy isn't hampered by truth or rationality. Most of them here don't have basic reading skills. Products of a Louisiana public school education I guess.

Tiger Ree, you have to pick a narrative and stick with it. Lots of teams with no talent return everybody, and they still suck the next season. We are constantly told that the team has no talent (not young). So, by that argument, returning talentless players shouldn't result in a better offense.

Was Fournette elite as a freshman? Do you think Emery and David are more elite than Fournette coming in as a freshman? If you are hanging your hopes on the RBs being saviors next season, you'll be disappointed I'm afraid.
