I wanted so badly to bet on sting to make some interceptions this year and nobody was willing to offer it on their books. Kid is gonna prove a lot of people wrong this year

The video was terrible. But one thing it showed is that Stingley finally got his technique fixed when he is lined up in press coverage. At LSU he used to not stay in his backpedal and would turn his hips almost immediately. Good receivers were spinning him like a dime. It was especially obvious against Florida and Alabama in 2019. He is playing that beautifully now and he will be a matchup nightmare for as long as he stays healthy.

Speaking of 2019 corners, I’m pleasantly surprised at the success of Fulton, who was a great college corner, but I thought would have problems in the pros. In college Fulton’s success was almost all due to his physical, handsy play; it seemed that Fulton never made plays above his head, and that’s where the NFL game is played. But I guess that was just a fluke, because he is a great pro.
