As opposed to the Tuck and Run Offense. Even OC Denbrock must have felt good having the handcuffs taken off of his playbook with Nuss.

He's not a statue either he can move and he can run. But the reason he did not win the job is still apparent - he's a gunslinger and prone to turnovers. He had two in a half of play and was honestly fortunate not to have 3 or 4.

Best arm since Jamarcus though for sure.

Nothing compares to a NUSS offense. Nothing.

Obviously we needed him to sling it around to have even a shot in the 2nd half but there were a few throws he was bailed out by our WR… which you can’t say has happened much all year.

Interceptions don’t matter when you’re throwing the ball deep

If it’s 3rd down and functions as a punt, then it lessens it, but that’s really just not a true statement.

One thing to remember is when you are in come back mode being down big you are prone to take more risks. Closer game you don't take those risks.

Nah we would rather have QB'S that rush for 800 yards a season. Sheesh

My biggest knock on Daniels this year was he held on to the ball too long and didn’t throw receivers open. Nuss throws the ball for receiver to go get it. I saw JD throw a receiver open only a couple times. All in all I enjoyed watching JD outside those tendencies. They seem to show up at the most in opportune times.

Turnovers ALWAYS matter. Ask any coach. I seriously can’t believe someone is up voting that statement. It’s a lot harder to score when you don’t have the ball.

I love these should have had 3-4...he threw one pic and 300 yards. Some of y'all act like defenders were dropping picks. No, he was placing the ball, with velocity, where they couldn't get to it. Yeah, a freshman threw a pic against a great def backfield. As for the fumble...didn't your boy have a game changing one last week, and a pic as well this week?

Easy, boy. Mett had a cannon.

Jarrett Lee had a fantastic release and could really spin it.

Brandon Harris could throw through a brick wall if he could hit it. People would stop and watch at QB camps.

Damone thinks he is funny. He hates nuss and loves him some run/no pass QB. He has been hugely triggered by the strong performance by nuss.

He threw 60 yards on a rope. Sorry. That's huge.

When it comes to Nuss and JD, people are confusing the one who gives us a better chance to win with the one who throws the ball deep more often.

Nuss came in and did exactly what the praise and the knock on him has been. He’s going to sling it and he’s going to turn it over left and right. He plays a different game than Daniels, but it’s ultimately not a winning type of football.

Bingo. Damone, justice, jrock...and several others. If the roles were reversed and JD came in and did that and if nuss couldn't pass....they would be deepthroating JD.
