Just my opinion. Please don’t hate
I think Kelly and the offensive coaches completely took Nuss out of his game. The dude has a cannon and they did not utilize it one time. These dunk passes is not his style. Not to mention that every now and then he needs to keep the ball on the RPO. We kept running the ball down the middle when they just kept stacking the box. Completely not what Nuss is comfortable with. I’ll hang up and listen.

They did. They played it safe and we weren’t up enough for them to do that. The run game worked for like 3 plays and then they kept beating a dead horse when it stopped working.

They definitely changed the rhythm of the entire game about 2.5 quarters in after LSU took the lead 17-13. BK had said at half he wanted to run the ball more, and by god once we took the lead he was going to Les Miles us by going against their strength...lol. It changed everything offensively, and they became predictable. It was a horrible job. People are saying Nuss got outplayed down the stretch, but it was really the coaches taking the ball out of his hands. They threw what, 10 less passes in the second half compared to the first half? That, despite two extra possessions. They definitely didn't do nuss any favors for a lot of that game.

Interested to see how play calling progresses before I jump on this bandwagon. It was his first game as a starter. I didn’t expect an air raid, open playbook scheme against this opponent, at this venue.
Not many people are mentioning how loud it was in there. It would have been different at home against a non power five.
