Kid wanted to play bad. Even put the religious eye black on. But the coaches wouldn’t let him play.

Must have been really tough for him.

He’ll come back even hungrier for the fall.

At this point, I don't know what to make of the Nuss situation.

I don't get how supporters of his decision keep saying the game was meaningless. Did you listen to JK? It seemed important him and MANY other players, especially all the guys that this was their last game in an LSU uniform. If it was meaningless, I'm pretty surer LSU would've opted out with 39 scholarship players available. A game played in Texas is never meaningless, it provides more exposure for the brand if nothing else. It's ALWAYS in the best interest of the program to put the best product available on the field.
