Everyone knows that LSU leads the Nation by being hit by pitches 72 times. In tRant’s opinion, why is that? Here are a few options for thought:
1. The hitters crowd the plate more than other teams to take away the inside pitch.
2. The entire LSU lineup cannot for the love of God hit an inside pitch so the opposing pitchers choose to throw inside and sometimes miss their spots and hit batters.
3. The Jordan twins have secretly figured out a way to get more eligibility by becoming Skrull’s and taking on the appearance of others.
4. None of the above.

Most of the HBPs have been awful pitches. We do have alot of guys that stand close to the dish, but so do many other teams. It's a combination of bad pitching and good plate awareness. Jay has taught the guys to be patient early in the count but still be in attack mode with the body, so you're gonna run into some bad, or even borderline, pitches.

We rarely jump out of the way of baseballs. Jay must've told them to stand in and take the free base. That hasn't always been the case
