Jones effed this team up. Simmons did all he could. Even with TQ and Gray this team would be this bad. Ben save the team from further more embarrassment last season. Sadly he probably saved Jones his job.

You're missing the point. How many games would they have won without him? We would've lost to fricking North Florida and Beau Beech if Simmons didn't score 40 and have a triple double. Lol

There are amazingly still people that disagree with you. Despite the fact that every bit of evidence is right in front of them that Simmons made a big impact on last years team and it would have been MUCH worse without him.

He did have an impact......he showed this team last year that you can quit on JJ and he will do nothing about it. Had Simmons played every game like the Kentucky game then we would not have this bad taste in our mouth on what A55 he was......Go watch One and Done and tell me different.

Which game you talking about? The one where he only played 27 minutes and LSU won because of TQ balling out or the one where Simmons played 40 minutes and LSU lost by almost 20?

Simmons didn't give a single shite about the team and it showed. Jones failed to keep the team together and now this season is more of the same. Would either team have quit on Jones if Simmons was never here? I seriously doubt it.
