Neither Hatcher or CT were starters.

talent wise it shouldn't even be close but obviously that doesn't matter with LSU football these days

Don't know, but they looked pretty good against us last year and in fact should have won that game.

Hatcher started last year against Arkie, and it's entirely possible that he would have started against UNC. Even if he didn't, he would have likely been in on enough plays to have been considered a virtual starter.

Well maybe you should make a better thread topic instead.

Wright/Boone was pushing CT hard for that spot.

We sure did seem to use a TE flexed out as the 4th WR in most of our 4 WR sets. I thought this was due to us not having a 4th WR ready to play after the Tolliver injury. If someone was on the verge of passing Tolliver as the #4, we sure didn't use them in the game...

Then you're blind. Boone and Wright played Saturday in several sets.

He already has a RS so he can't redshirt this year. He would have to have his eligibikity extended and they won't get that unless he misses 2 years due to injury

You have no freakin idea what you're talking about.

True but how often does LSU really go into 4 WR sets? Not very often. What impact has he made in his career thus far? None. I'm not saying it's good he's hurt but because he hasn't done anything up to this point in his career I feel more than confident in the skill guys on the roster that I don't feel him being out affects LSU's offense in anyway in my honest opinion.

It is a loss when you have to play a true freshman in that spot that is still finding their way

Maybe, Maybe not. A Freshman WR can make an impact if he gets the opportunities and sometimes when they do they don't but Tolliver's injury does not worry me at this point in the season.

Actually, we used a TE flexed out in our 4 WR package because of the loss of Tolliver

How do you know that? How do you know that Miles & Crowton already had that formation into the game plan and ran the plays they ran? I'm not saying your wrong but do you (Really) know thats why they didn't use more 4 WR sets? At the end of the day I personally don't see TT's injury as a big deal at this point, that's all.

This. Tolliver would have made more of an impact
