True. They scored on desperate plays and crap coverage. A&M isn't as good as people are saying. They will find a way to blow it... Fisher is good but not 75 mil good. LSU had a long history of playing to their talent . Very frustrating when we play lesser talent but nice when we play good teams.

Pay him whatever the hell he wants. I would say not a 10 year deal, but jesus. The way that offense played against Clemson last night and “the greatest d-line in college history” my god, I can only imagine what he would turn us into.

It's over with Jimbo. He's locked in with A&M and he isn't going anywhere else.

We had our chance. Twice. We were too cheap and incompetent to get it done.

“ as long as the state is in the hole”

The state pays the salaries of the LSU football coaches? ??

The more successful the LSU football program is, the more money flows into the state budget.

If so, look to the clueless cute co-eds adoring Miles after beating the hapless Aggies to end the 2015 season. F King and Alleva bought that BS as rationale to retain Miles.

Idiocy, regardless of who might have replaced Miles.

Everyone with ANY football sense knew Miles was extraordinarily over rated. No one will sniff him as coach.

Everyone now knows the truth.

Damn clueless cute co-eds.

So it was ok back then to hire a coordnator . When today it’s bad move. Please make up our minds!

So because some fans are against hiring a coordinator that means all fans are against it?

Some fans were against hiring Jimbo when Saban left and some thought he should have been hired as head coach.

The same fans who didn’t want him hired back then as a coordinator probably still don’t want to hire a coordinator today as a head coach.

Doubt most who believe that LSU shouldn’t hire coordinators as the next coach have changed their mind.

Nobody is beating Saban...no point in wasting the money now. Keep the retread coach until Saban decides to hang it up. Then go for the homerun hits

“ Miles was extraordinarily overrated”

That must have been why from 2005 to 2015 LSU lead the SEC in over at all wins. It also must’ve been why LSU played in 3 SEC championship games and two national championship games during that time.

It’s amusing when the most successful period under one coach in LSU history is seen as an extraordinarily overrated time for LSU football.

I often wonder what LSU football some people have been following for the last 25 years.

I might be mistaken, but I’m pretty sure he lost last night.

BOOM! We have truly turned into moral victory U when we admire teams that lose. Hell, we're 2-0; A&M is 1-1. It might turn out that Clemson sucks.

Actually, Skip Bergman gave it his best shot on Nick. Nick had an NFL itch he was going to scratch come hell or high water. After he jumped ship Nick realized he had made a mistake. When he quit the Dolphins Alabama was the best college job available. The rest is history.

Fans think the grass is greener when it truly isn't. I can list a number of programs this year who are finding this out already
