Which side is better for season tickets? Was looking around 241 in NEZ and 420 in SEZ. See mixed reviews. SEZ has better food options and potential for covered seats and more shade. Some people say the NEZ is a better experience and it’s louder since closer to band and student section but then also some say SEZ may be louder and people stay at the game longer in the SEZ. Have only sat in the NEZ so no true opinion on the SEZ. I don’t really mind the sun but is there an actual glare or is it hard to see the game during the day in NEZ? Any opinions welcomed.

SEZ just for the shade.

100% NEZ, don’t even think about moving to the SEZ. It sucks there. Don’t move there, at least not until after 3:24pm May 12, 2026.

The opposition sits in the lower section of the SeZ. I wouldn’t like being near them.

Been having season tickets in 207 (north) for 30 years. If you want to feel like you’re drowning in the atmosphere, that’s a great place to be. The stadium feels like it’s bearing down on top of you, you’re close to the band, close to the student section, close to the team for warmups, the band marches right at you pre game. VIPs walk right in front of you on their way to their suites. The visiting team runs out of their tunnel straight to you to take a knee in the endzone and you get to shout obscenities at them. I personally wouldn’t trade it for anywhere else.

Great pic! How much sooner would you say these sections get shade before east uppers in the evening?

For the 2:30 games, usually late 3Q from what I recall. However, we don’t get that many of those anymore.

I have been in North and South.

Prefer North because you have more exit options (and I'm not talking about before the game is over.)

You can take the steps almost all the way down. The ramps in upper South are steeper and more congested .
I don't worry about stadium food because I don't eat the overpriced concessions. Eat at tailgate.

There’s still a ton of LSU fans in that area except for one or two sections.

SEZ on the home sideline gets shade early for afternoon games. But those are few and far between these days.

I’d choose NEZ for the atmosphere. Especially since 2:30 games will be a rarity now that CBS isn’t airing the games anymore.

Man I sat on the back row of 406, under the overhang for 1 game. I dont know if it was just that one game but there was a serious breeze through there all game. Wasn't a cold day but I was freezing my butt off.

My family has had tickets in the NEZ since I was four years old. The new sound system with the piped in music at maximum volume makes it almost unbearable. It's different than ordinary crowd noise. It's full spectrum noise that penetrates your bones. Maybe it's different in other parts of the stadium but it's downright unpleasant in the NEZ.

Both are amazing, if we can get rid of the piped in music. Both End zones used to be loudest part of tiger Stadium until about 8 years ago

I’ve had season tickets in the south but now have lower west. West is better but I really loved my seat in the south.

Pros-

Great views, close to band but far enough away from the scoreboard speakers, great group of fans around there, atmosphere can’t be beat

Cons-

Might be the worst concessions in the stadium. From 241 you will be 4 sections away from the nearest concession stand with actual food and they will likely be out of everything by halftime. Also, you are the last to get shade on a day game.

I love sitting there though, and although I have the opportunity to move every offseason, I have remained there for 25 years

Been having tickets in the SEZ for 25 years. 415.

Plusses:
-Shade
-Can hear the music fine
-There are a lot of dining options
-The view is very good

Negatives:
-Restrooms

You still very much feel like part of the stadium.

With all the piped in music, does being close to the band really matter?

This is the main downside of the north end zone.
