Burrow has more of all the intangibles than LSU’s other QB’s, except for knowing the former LSU playbook which supposedly is being changed to fit Burrows style of play or comfort zone, so that’s a wash.

Looking at the great success of other transfers in the SEC, makes one think a highly rated Ohio St QB who basically beat out the other two formidable Buckeyes, he just may soar to the top of the heap, nobody in the SEC may outduel him.

Why must every user on the rant start their own thread about stuff that’s already been discussed

I don’t understand why we even recruit QBs anymore. Just let other schools develop them and then get them on the transfer. It’s a fool proof plan

Negative Tiger fans have some serious mental issues, anything positive, they freak out over.

Could a formidable Buckeye QB possibly out duel the SEC QBs, hell yes!!!!

FWIW, the "expert" Moscona had on at 5 today said Burrow is another Etling and is just a mediocre transfer. It was Joe Lisi.

Eta: I had never heard of him before.

What I already know.. if we goin to throw the ball get ready for Brennan. If our Qb is going to run 18-20 times a game get ready for Narcisse! Burrow will be a great backup.. you better be ready to except this...

What I already know Cajun, is that Burrow has more experience than Brennan or Narcisse, more presence in the pocket than both, and better instincts, plus he’s not a statue like Brennan so defenses can’t key in on his location.

Burrow isn't really that much more experienced than Brennan as far as game action attempts and stats if I recall correctly. Obviously has received more coaching since he's been in school longer.

So if he's another Etling, but with a stronger arm, a little bigger, and a little faster...I'll take that. My complaint on Etling was weak arm, and bailing after reads 1 and 2. We'll see.
