I see 4-8! Sorry but unless we get QB and defensive middle play get real that is what it is! I feel 6-6 would be awesome, and this week is where one needs to come from!

The loss of marale to who? The football team? Are you that stupid to think that a post has something to do with the players morale and what the fans are expecting? If we (the fans) could really control the morale of the team I would be all for sunshine pumping. Even the players know they suck right now. Come on man!

I have to disagree here. A few years ago when we had the Lee/Jefferson controversy, LSU still ended with a 9-3 season. I do believe Alabama and Ole Miss will be tough games, but there's no reason not to believe a loss to Kentucky or A&M. Our young team can only get better as the season progresses, and even though this may be a painful year for tiger fans everywhere, we will rebound the following year just as we always have and always will

right...we are young and inexperienced......and yet you just said we could win some games based on talent and if the coaches got out of the way.
so the talent of these young and inexperienced kids are going to win us some games in the SEC West as long as the coaches just leave them alone......seems legit
like i said to the OP....as much as he'd like to believe that Miles has won 80% of his games on talent alone....it just doesn't work that way.

I may or may not be that stupid, but that is beyond the scope of this thread. All I'm saying is that the players don't live in a vacuum, they interact with fans. If the entire fan base is walking around with catastrophe syndrome written across their forehead, and talking constantly about firing coaches, and how the players suck, the players will pick up on this and lose morale.

So how do you explain his record if he's such a shitty coach? He's the only constant over his tenure here. So if he's so shitty, how has he managed to average 10 wins a season regardless of coordinators?

He has just maintained the program by being a good recruiter. Just because you know how build a stock car does not make you a NASCAR driver. I think if you are happy with maintaining then Miles is your guy. If you want good clean elite football then you should look elsewhere. In Miles tenure, he has always had sme facet of his teams that had sloppy play or bad play calling. I can tolerate losing games just not the way we have been losing
