Entire scheme stinks. Every unit on offense is poorly coached. You can’t undo four weeks of spring, fall camp, and 8 weeks of the regular season in two weeks.

The "scheme" really doesn't stink. We are doing a lot of the same things schematically that many CFB teams do.

The execution is trash though. Not sure if we just have terrible players or they weren't taught/coached well. Probably a combination of both.

But the problems was the o line not being able to block a 3 man rush.

And even better playcalling can’t fix that this late in the season.

Exactly.

You can "hide" some weaknesses with great playcalling but if you can't block a 3 man front, playcalling can't fix that.

This abomination of an offense has a life of its own. A new coach and major offseason fumigation will be required to fix it

Not saying that is not required, but I think it goes much deeper, we have serious personnel issues on the OL. That is ultimately on Kelly. In hindsight, should have gotten about 3 to 4 Million to play Campbell and Jones, or at least tried. Rather than spend the money on the 2 TE's from OU and Aggie (who does not play here and did not play there) and the 2 WR's (from UK and OU), that money should have been spent on 4 OL who had starts, in addition to the 2 you brought in. Let them all battle it out in spring.

DL can't get pressure with 4 man rush at all.

We can yell coaching all we want, I think the reality is this roster in year 4 of Kelly is not that good top to bottom.
