Miles has done an outstanding job recruiting on par with Saban and is a outstanding motivator, but unfortunately none of that has anything to do with coaching. If he was great at calling plays and knowing where to put players at or play players at I should say to take adavantage of their strengths. Game management, etc. LSU would crush Bama and he would be without a doubt the best coach in the country.

YES Miles needs to let his ASST coaches DO THEIR JOB. But he is still the #2 coach in the SEC. IMO ANYONE that thinks different doesn't know shite..............

How many on the RANT called for Miles to be fired after your win against Tennessee in 2010?

So you get the point. Fans might want a blow-out and an exciting close finish at the same time. The way you've been trolling, you seem to be a card carrying member of the rant.

As is often the case in these lengthy threads, the arguments have shifted to subsidiary issues that are only tangentially related to the primary topic.

True.. it's the rant. When you recognize that you are chasing these inane rabbits, could you not ignore the trail.

Miles is a bleeping emotional topic - plenty think that he got lucky. Other than jealousy for Bama's success, LSU should be fine with its current state. Bama's success is a sore point because of the what-if factor. If not for Saban, LSU fans could have been optimistic about "next year".

LSU would CRUSH Bama if DAN frickING MULLEN was our coach????

I mean, clearly you must be trolling, but thank you for so clearly representing the stupid ridiculous bullshite I was referring to earlier.

You truly are clueless and should be ridiculed if you actually believe the diarrhea spewing from your mouth.

Yep, the all time winningest coach at Florida and USCe is a better coach than Miles. Go figure.

That 2011 season is still the best coaching feat I've ever seen, even despite 1/9.

Ranters take the fun out of an amazing season by focusing on the NC game. That game was a travesty. But that season was thrilling. We don't get to reminisce about those games because of the focus on 1/9. Hopefully, we'll get to relive some of those highlights when they start featuring TM7 and others during the draft season.

Give me YOUR reasons....................

You'll never get a reason for such responses. You'll get answers such as 'He's not top-3 or 5 or 10'. You can never pin them down and ask who would be better and why?

The topic says it all. No respect for that man. When someone says he such be ranked better than 24, LSU fans can certainly agree. But this incessant bitching takes the joy out of the discussions.

Win 11 games in a season at a program that had never won 11 games in a season in their entire history. Oh, and did it again the next season.

I would never attempt to argue with someone that considers SOS among "THE REST....."

#1 for the zingers.
Post Florida, he needs to be considered for his record.
Even when he was trouncing LSU, I liked his wit and sharp tongue.
