Chis Jackson LSU career numbers: 37.2 PPG, 3.6 APG, 1.7 SPG, .474/.372/.863 shooting

These numbers can't be right. Chris Jackson did not average 37 ppg at LSU. It's more like high twenties.

Chris Jackson was a much better passer than Waters
no way. can't get on board with that. i think c.j. is an overall better player but waters is super special in this regard. closest thing to magic i've seen since then. maravich was the best ever. the wizard

Chris Johnson was definitely a better scorer. He had multiple games where he dropped 50+ points.

He is a very similar PG to Fred Van Vleet in my opinion. Both similar size and game at the college level.

He’s a good player, but your thread title is misleading. His fg% is slightly higher than a couple of all time greats, and he has a couple more assists than CJ, but his turnovers are higher and his ppg are much lower. Your title makes it sound like his level of play is unprecedented, but you are cherry picking a couple of stats.

Btw, I really like Tremont.

I think he has work to do to be able to be looked at as comparable to Pistol Pete and Chris Jackson.

I hope he is able to and gets some national recognition.

Is it me or what....with the college BB situation of the superstars being 1 and done, that you don't really get the household name in college anymore? They are in the pros by the time the college fans nationwide start to hear about them.
