I have not been the biggest JJ fan, god knows. I do think he should get the start against Oregon though. Unless Mett has a killer fall I don't see how you can start anyone else. He's got the most experience in big games and will probably give us the best chance to win.

We can run the ball up the gut against Oregon and throw off of play-action, run some clock and out physical the Ducks.

I suspect the defense for LSU will be the key to this game. I guess I have been conditioned to think this way.

I think that's true as well, but the offense is going to have to take some of the pressure off or the D in this game because of Oregons quick strike ability.

Who knows what the O will look like next year, but I know we have to limit the opposite teams chances.

Yeah, we need an offense that can execute and use the clock to their advantage. I have forgotten what that acrually looks like in PnG.

Amazing that not that long ago ('07) we could do things like that. Seems like an eternity.

Kinda funny how we used to take a functional offense for granted...

No doubt, I actually thought we'd be better at the time. Took Flynn for granted for sure.

I never had any. Anyone who though Mett would come in and take over was only fooling themselves.

I know I know every spring JJ is a folk hero
He was horrific in the Spring game last year. He looked disinterested, sullen, and detached on national TV. It was actually quite embarrassing. Most of the rest of your post I agree with, but we already knew it anyway.

I don't think anyone would have ever had issue with Jordan starting if he OUTPLAYED Mett, just that not many that figured JJ would be starting thought that would be the case.
