for the time being, but that was Ole Miss's shitty D we played and he could still suck next week, but he could also continue his progression

I am far from a JJ supporter but you have to give the kid credit. He had a whole lot of people against him and not believing he was the right QB. The guy has come through big time and I am sold. Just think about all the negative stuff he used to read about himself and he never gave up. JJ deserves alot of credit. We would be 8-3 without him!!!

Given that he played well for nearly 0 quarters against even shitty defenses up to this point, yes, it matters negative nancy.

without a doubt, a switch was flipped with JJ.

I've been a HUGE JJ basher for the last 2 years. But he's really shown up the last few weeks and need to give mad props to the guy!

Heres to JJ

JJ played really well tonight, and I'm glad that the coaches stayed with the hot hand, but...

On one of Jarret Lee's two drives, LSU threw a bubble screen for 7 yards on first down, and then on 2 straight plays tried to pound the ball between the tackles, THE VERY DRIVE AFTER GETTING STONED AT THE GOAL LINE. Not Jarret Lee's fault. Also, LSU's receivers and tight ends were wide open tonight. Ole Miss' defense is horrendous.

But congrats to JJ for the good game, as I said, he needed to stay in because the package of plays he was running were working well.

didn't have that anxious look on his face, had a hard, competitive edge to him.

Was very decisive with his throws...when he drops back, sticks his foot in the ground and throws the ball, he is effective

No one gives a shite if you are skeptical. This is JJ's team now. He is the best we have. JL will continue to get his 2-3 series a game though.

Hope Mettenberger commits.

I'm just glad he figured out how to run the option. Has actually looked like a decent play lately.

Ran that option with Ford very good today. I think I speak for all Tigers Fans. All we wanted is a Quarterback to step up, make plays, and LEAD this team. We didn't care who did it, just that someone do it.

Yes its called... the O-line not having 5 false starts a game, 5 holding penalties a game, a few illegal shifts per game, personal fouls, more time for JJ in the pocket,WR not dropping as many balls, Crowton taking off handcuffs.

If any of the Rantards directed some of the blame in the past where it should have been... the recent good play by JJ wouldn't be a surprise at all.

The whole team is playing better now.

I think he's earned the right to take al the snaps. He stepped it up tonight and played his arse off.

This, and JJ isn't sucking anymore, you forgot to add that. In case you forgot, Jarrett Lee led the same offense to about 9 straight scoring drives while JJ's drives were ending in 3 and outs or turnovers earlier this year.

I agree with that. 10-1 has been a dual quarterback effort but I think you have to admitt he has really stepped up since halftime with Bama. He just looks different. Hell he is even running the option well.

no doubt, he should play the most until he becomes ineffective, if it happens

Let's be honest, jj's results have been better, but I don't think he has improved that much. He looks great when his primary receiver is open, and he can make the throw. However, when his primary receiver is covered he has no idea where to go with the ball. He either throws a bad pick like the ball he tried to throw to shep, or he holds the ball too long and takes a bad sack. Mettenberger should be salivating over the possibility of competing for the qb spot on this team.
