The people on this board are un-fricking-believable.

No night games? Blame Alleva. All night games? Why the frick would I give that guy credit?

Good job Joe. And good job with your reaction to the SEC fine for rushing the field. You're doing a good job - and you're looking smarter every week for ignoring the nega-retards who wants Miles gone.

Another thread full of cluelessness. Do you all realize how many day game slots there were, besides the CBS game? Every week there was the possibility of playing the 11:00 SEC Network game (sometimes there were 2 slots for that) OR the afternoon SEC Network slot that went up against CBS. I think Alleva did have something to do with making sure we didn't end up in those slots. The crappy September games easily could have ended up at 11:00 am.

I think there was probably a request to the SEC that LSU not be forced to play the crappy OOC games during the day. As far as CBS/ESPN was concerned, of the 4 home SEC games on the schedule this year, only 1 was probably the "best game of the day" that CBS would have wanted. That was this past weekend vs. OM (LSU/Bama was likely always a CBS prime time choice). All that to say, I think it is just as stupid to give Alleva praise for all night games this year, as it is to criticize him when LSU is forced to pay during the day.

I suspect that had CBS been in the six-day window to pick a game before last week, OM-LSU would have ended up on CBS at 2:30. CBS made the MSU-Ky choice before LSU beat Ky 41-3.

I could be wrong because CBS still got MSU as the No. 1 team in the country. But CBS has taken OM-LSU in other years and OM was No. 3.
