Yeah. The problem today has more to do with the government getting involved than it does with the NCAA.

Courts would approve contracts nit unlike the NFL rookie contracts. Most are 3 year contracts with both parties having 1-2 option years. In the case of college, why can’t we have a similar contractual system? After first 3 years, a player has e options, 1) enter NFL draft, 2) stay with team or 3) enter free agency (aka transfer portal) to sign with another team for a year or 2 (if they had a redshirt year

I don’t think this is correct unless another ruling occurred since December.

Last I heard, a temporary injunction was in place effective until the end of 2023 allowing student athletes to transfer without restriction.

This because a full hearing on the matter was/is pending.
