How good can Gerald Hawkins be at right tackl
First off, how can anyone here even begin to know how good his potential. Secondly, he started last year so you know that he shows promise.
Just dont understand threads like these.

I think he is going to have a breakout year. Was a little raw last coming into LSU and last season. Now with a year starting under his belt and with his natural ability to play the position I expect big things from him. Still seems a little lean for drive blocking in the run game. With another year in the weight program, he will probably be one of the top OT's in the 2016 draft. Just got to wait and see how it plays out.

He got absolutely mauled by Miss State's Chris Jones.

A lot of people were mauled by that beast last year

By the way, we need more threads like these especially with the season closing in.

The perfect scenario would be La'El have a great season and go in the 1st round.. Have Hawkins move to the LT spot and go in the 1st the year after. And in the same year have Pocic start at RT then move over to the LT spot after Hawkins. I know that's a lot but would love to see it

I completely agree.
Then after that Maea could lock down a tackle spot after a year in the system.

I don't think Maea will ever plays tackle at LSU. IMO, he's a OG all the way.
I hope my scenario plays out! Then Pocic (who's the 6th best OL from last year and a true OT) moves to RT and then LT after Hawkins. And I think J. Domond will be a quality RT for us. Also hope we hang on to H. Shipley. Dude is very athletic and will be an OT for us
