Boykin was a very good pickup for Caldwell this late in the recruiting season. She's not known so much for her scoring as she is for her defense and rebounding. Long Beach Poly is one of the top programs in the nation. Boykin is not a "franchise" player. She's more of a solid defender and rebounder. I don't expect she'll ever be a 15-20 ppg scorer in college. But with the talent LSU has right now, she doesn't need to be.

Getting Nikki is a great thing for us as anyone would likely agree as she will hopefully bring more spirit and cohesiveness to the team, butttt VC did recruit the other 2 ladies who helped make up the top ten recuiting class. So you have to give some credit where credit is due as I felt VC was a very good recuiter.
His teams however were certainly lacking something in their play....half court vs running team, and perhaps motivation?
