No they didn't.

The Shepard fumble call was a phantom. The fumble happened when he hit the ground. That call took away four yards...

Once again, they didn't call pushing off by A.J. Green.

And the safety that wasn't called was terrible.

He was an inch outside the tackle box good call by the refs

That and the fact that the ball passed the line of scrimmage, and the fullback was in the area of the throw.

We executed when it counted.

They failed with the same chance. When you have a head coach who is Miles better in special teams, that's what usually happens.

Next.

[quote]excues me - how about the safety should have been awarded to LSU - did you overlook that[/quot
He was outside the tackle box AND there was a receiver right there that he overthrew. Other than that, nothing.

What's up with those petty Celebration calls? Those were huge plays. Let these kids have fun.

GOOD POINT. Alem got tackled on UGA's first TD drive on one of their earlier 3rd down conversions.

Also that fumble by shep should have be reviewed and we should have been 2nd & 5 instead of 8.

Ridiculous celeb penalties though.

Again not reviewing the fumble on Shep was big, we lost 4 yards on that play and we didn't get it on 4th and inches.

There were terrible calls on both sides. I saw a crap load of holding and of course the nonexistant safety call.

Right, but it wasn't like playing at Auburn in the TT years.

The two excessive celebration calls on Georgia were horrible and the second won attributed greatly to our TD. The one against us was an embarrassing makeup call.

All in all we got the calls in the 2nd half, no doubt. But there were quite a few horrible no calls and bad spots that hurt us in the 1st half. For the whole game, I would call it even. UGA earned bad defensive field position with bad kickoff coverage + trying to cheat by overloading one side on coverage, which they got called on.

if we would not have got the celebration penalty, we would have found another way to win.
