NFL tryout player vs 6/7th year player

Frankly a player in 6th or 7th year has way more of an advantage than a 5th year player that didn’t make an NFL team. I don’t see why there is such an issue being raised now. SEC and NCAA are run by very stupid people with no analytical ability. It’s astounding to me.

They're only going after LSU and the 5 for 5 players from 2022 because public opinion is largely in their favor. Has nothing to do with wanting to fairly enforce rules.

Conferences and the NCAA have been largely emasculated and stripped of power and are looking for any win right they can get right now, even just in the court of opinion.
