the fact that it is "technically allowable" does not change the fact it is a stupid fricking suggestion

Do we even have any seniors who this could be plausible for aside from Sheppard, who may or may not even want to change.

I think it's gonna go to a junior personally if not Shep. Dickson wore it for more than 1 year after all. It doesn't have to just be a senior thing, just given to a team leader

#18 threads always bring out the internet hard asses, or I as I call them, "assholes". You're too cool for it, we get it. We're all very impressed with how cool you are.

Oh, it'll certainly be Shep.

I would guess Shep as well, but think Blue, Clement, or Aghayare would be good candidates.

I'd like to see Copeland get it. Real question is after next year, who gets the Tigers' most coveted number: 7?

Well, Jacob Hester very clearly had a Texas Longhorn tattoo as well, so that doesn't hold much water.

Yeah, I hear you B9. 80 is his #, but he definitely symbolizes what #18 is all about for LSU. Can't wait to see 80 get more playing time. He's a beast.

For all the dumbasses who think an O-Lineman cannot wear #18 please consult the NCAA rule book, as I did.

You would still need 5 guys on the line wearing numbers between 50-79

So this would essentially make him a TE, or force the coaching staff to put in an extra lineman to account for the rules

Mettenberger needs to wear it. Does it have to be a senior?

Dwayne Bowe has an 80 tattoo and now wears 82.
