I think with the perception of this team the last 4 years in regards to the passing game next year is going to be a very important year for LM in terms of the recruitment of recievers and QB's. And no I don't think this was an issue that made Kiel change his mind I think that was a distance factor. But if we come out next year and do what we did the last part of this season and the previous seasons it will begin to show in recruiting. But here is looking forward to 2012 season and putting the cluster frick behind us.

Flame on!!!

Every year is an important year for Les Miles because every time he loses a damn game, the idiots go full fricking rantard and trash his arse to no end.

The sad thing is that there are people who feel this way.

Believe me, I know. I know several people who honestly want him fired because we lost the BCSNC game. And these are people who dont post on the rant.

Don't think I put in my post anywhere that he should be fired. Some of you have to take your blinders off. If you have a school that does not want to pass the ball you will not have the tope QB recruits or Recievers going to that school. Do you see any to QB or Reciever recruits even consider Georgia Tech? This is going to be a telling year for him regardless of if we go 13-1 and with the championship. If a reciever or QB does not feel they will be used (which will give them a shot at the NFL) then they will go to a more pass friendly place. And if you think otherwise then you are truley delusional.

I was more mad at CLM after the ole miss time management debacle! The man navigated us through a tough schedule, went 13-1, sec champs, but just came up a little short

But the question that is out there and I think next season will answer it. Does he want his main focus to be on a heavy run oriented offense with a mobile QB or will he open it up with a passer since Mett is supposed to be very good. I am not totally convinced Mett will start when we have a mobile QB on the roster and Miles tendency to favor them. If we go out next year and average 150 yard passing a game or less and the main focus being the run game you will see a decline over the next couple of years of top rated players at the QB and Reciever spot not look at us d/t that. Like I said next year is going to be a big year in this regards. I hope we go to a more balance system and take what the D gives us. If they are stacking the box then Sling it on them all day long!!!

you talking about going 6-1 (with an overall record of 24-2) in the last half of the last two seasons only to lose to the eventual natcham with one being a mulligan?

only time will tell....but, IMHO, that one bad game is not going to effect where we are going and who we are going to get there with.

best qb on team was 3rd string....

adjust to your strengths...did with D and ST, but O hurt when a qb can't complete a pass

You're stupid les miles could lose 6 games next year and not be anywhere near the hot seat. We just won te sec and played for a national title, his second time doing that. Good god man. WE ARE BECOMING SOME ENTIGHTLED BITCHES.

Don't be a dumbass!! I am happy we had a great season but you have to be able to look at the areas where you need improvement to stay on top. The passing game is definitly our biggest area for improvement. And if it is not improved that will affect recruiting. I don't want 5 years from now and we can not land top recievers and QBs affect our results and also further recruiting and only thing I can say is well hell in 2011 we won 13 games and the SEC guess I am good. If you are satisfied by just having to have a chance to play in the MNC game and not win it then that sucks for you.

Miles a wonderful coach and has done an incredible job with this program. I believe that the fan base would better accept a few losses a year if those losses were not solely based on stubborn decisions by Les during crucial in-game moments. Coaches cannot be expected to win every game, but they can be expected not to lose games due to bad decisions.

Winning the SEC and playing in National Championships will help recruiting more than it will hurt it.

I agree with this! If we would have thrown the kitchen sink at BAMA and they still beat us then I would feel better about it. But this is the mentality that has to change D and ST will not save you in every game the O will have to do it in the passing game at some point.

Reread my post and try to comprehend it rather than using your ready answer for every argument you are in. Thanks and
