Or you could go read the bylaws and not blindly take faith in the hackish journalism taking place.

Until someone here sits down and reads the bylaws which no one has ... i'll take the critically acclaimed writer instead of a no named blogger. Call me crazy.

So until a no named blogger on this site sits down and reads the bylaws you'll take the word of a "critically acclaimed" writer instead of a no named blogger?

I know I'm dull but bear with me.

FWIW, both Wetzel and Robinson follow ByLawBlogger.

When did I claim to have read the bylaws and tried to validate myself to you based on that comment? You said a no named blogger's claim wasn't good enough but you would accept a no named blogger's claim here. Sounds like you're a fricking idiot.

Well, a little information about the bylaw blogger.

quote:

John Infante is the assistant director of compliance at Loyola Marymount University. In the summer of 2010, his identity as the author of The Bylaw Blog became public, after which he decided to discontinue his blog. But, his passion for explaining NCAA compliance (outside of his full-time position at Loyola Marymount) did not end. He resurrected The Bylaw Blog with encouragement from the NCAA Communications department and is featured on their blog roll on NCAA.org.

And a link.

No he's not. He's saying people love digging dirt ... no matter the school affiliation and that that hurts LSU b/c often when the media digs the media finds.

Christ you're dull.

Thank you. I'm hoping he sees this.

The video quality standing alone doesn't bother me that much. But when placed in context with these alleged facts, I have to wonder:

1. Miles told CBS that he didn't "who Willie Lyles was" until December 2010. But, (a) this 2008 post from a company with whom Lyles was affiliated suggests they'd been "friends for years," and (b) I would think Miles had at least heard of Lyles since LSU paid $20k to him from 2008-2009.

2. Brick Haley denied knowing who Lyles was when he showed up with him at Trevon Randle's high school, but (a) Randle said that Lyles and Haley were "close",and (b)Haley was the one who months later cut a $6k check to Lyles on behalf of LSU, and the invoice itself was referenced Haley on it.

3. Randle is quoted as saying that Lyles "knows about every restaurant in Baton Rouge, and he introduced me to all of them." LINK. By itself this is nothing (even though he's from Houston), but when considered with...

4. Larry Porter is supposed to have known Lyles "from his time as assistant head coach at LSU", who was recruiting Lache Seastrunk for us.

Yes, all this info is old. But there are alot of inconsistencies that, I hope, can be plausibly explained.
