dont use a fricking fake. just go in and order your drink and then drink it. In BR it'll be a little more difficult.

in New Orleans once you're in the bar no one gives a frick. In BR, the bars check IDs a little harder.

are you talking about NO or BR?? Don't go to a bar in BR besides Northgate Tavern, the Chimes, or Walk Ons. If you go to a Tigerland bar (reggies, freds, mikes, the box) you're going to probably get in a fight.

all day in baton rouge and then if you have the time, hit new orleans on sunday. I dont know if you have ever made the trip to baton rouge, but i can promise that the tailgating for this game will be second to none. Get out to campus as early as possible. Be very, VERY careful with underage drinking though on campus.

go to NO friday nite( are you kidding?) i dont know if you party like we do, but better just plan on not sleeping!!!! we will be in NO thursday nite and friday nite. heading to BR before 6am. traffic is gonna be b*****. you wont be dissapointed. hardly anywhere cards in NO, esp for a huge game like this.

i agree if you can goto N.O. on friday that is the best way ... the original post mentioned underage drinking and I thought maybe they were in school or perhaps wouldnt be able to make it until early saturday morning. geauxkw is ABSOLUTELY right if you can get to bourbon on friday and then get to campus before 8 am ... you will have yourself one hell of a trip. Thank you geauxkw for pointing out my mistake.

hit nola friday night and wake up early. getting to campus around seven or eight should yield no problems.
if you are a student, go to a student bar. you won't get into a fight unless you want too. every away game I have been too, i've hit a student bar and had a great time.
