True but as you well know even with a strong computer number (one better than Bama) you still probably need to be a strong 3 in human votes and have Bama lose some 2 votes.
The lower the computer number the more 2s needed.
Not saying it can't be anyone other than Bama but it would take more than a few voters changing their mind away from Bama and to someone else for it to happen.

IMO, if VaTech takes care of business next week and does it big, and OSU loses, they may jump Bama. I'd imagine right now the human pollsters would do anything they could to make sure a rematch would not happen since they have been so against it in the past.

I think Bama is a great team, but I think the BCS championship would be undervalued in some quarters if Va Tech is a conference champ that beat the team that gave it its only loss and was excluded.
Bama haD its chance, bring on Va Tech and their D and special teams.
IRL, Bama got almost all the #2 votes.
