LSU did not score one single point against Arky. What makes you think, that would have changed?

No doubt it affected them. But you don't come out and just say frick it, the season is over. You come out and play your best week in week out.

How could they not come out like this, the fans, beat writers and everyone else did. Only thing talked about after that is negative and defeated.

While I certainly don't disagree, historically this just isn't the case. Once they lose to Bama their preseason goals are all out the window and it's difficult to be as motivated as they would've been coming off of a win against Bama.

I thought earlier that Bama would have gone, but actually we would have gone because of our record against Ole Miss.

So... yeah...

Check out the 3-team tiebreaker:

Not until the last resort. In this case, rule C would have done it. Ole Miss at 5-3. MSU and Bama lost... LSU won. Tiebreaker done.

So, we gave up our shot at Atlanta. If they beat Bama, I think they might have beaten Arky. Then again, that might have caused Bama to lose the Iron Bowl, which would have sent MSU.

And even if we beat Bama, I'm 95% sure we lose to Arky

They were due and the stars aligned

We'll never know. 8-4 (4-4), 5th SECW.
