Seriously? I hope you are joking. You can understand how a bunch of young freshmen and sophomores getting their first starts can improve significantly after a year of playing together? Holy fk.

If it's all about the Jimmies and Joes as you like to say, how can essentially the same group of players go from 6-6 to 12-2?

Experience
Confidence
Playing together as a team
New position players that are better than the old
Coaching additions
Coaching changes

There can be a myyriad of reasons and none of them are "historians trauma"

A NC wouldn't change him. He made up his mind before O coached his first game.

Hesnever payed football and relying on bad information to form his opinions

He has no clue how much of a difference experience can make. But "historical stuff" matters

Being competitive vs our biggest rival would be a start.

I think a lot of us just want him to do what he promised when he took the job. I don't know why so many are offended that he's being held to his word.

Could ask the same question of how the 2000 LSU team improved 5 games from 3-9 in 1999.

I guess Saban has magic talent dust he just sprinkles on his roster and POOF, wins magically appear.

Sure, but that teams performance was more of a function of the guy that's leading them. That's my point.

Shrubs thinks that coaches play a minor part in a team's performance. It's all about the Jimmies and Joes to him. So he'd have you believe that those same group of players would've done well no matter who was coaching them. He'd have you believe that one recruiting class and a one year increase in experience was enough to add 6 wins.

You really have the nerve to continue to respond to Roger after you posted the shite you posted. You need help.

Why did they go 6-6 and lose to ULM in 2007?

Same guy leading them.

Dude he has been here two full years, has the program trending big-time up, and just finished #6. It took bama time to build their program, and you can't just snap your fingers and say hey, now we are even. He is closing the gap though, and this year with an experienced qb, will be interesting.

Wtf am I doing. I agree with you, I am a dumbass. A dumbass for wasting my time trying to talk objectively with agenda driven trolls. Goodnight.

It's enjoyable. His own ignorance is enough

He said to STFU about returning experience like it didn't matter

Bama went from 6-6 to 12-2 and then to 14-0 and national champions by year 3.

Let's not act like the situations are similar.

They won an NC in year 3. That's where we are.

It's time. I see no reason we can't be competitive this year

Why can't you mix a little reality in with his word so you don't have to be so disconnected from it. This is O's third year and it's also the year that he's poised to to do well. Last season was a good year. You act like last season was a disappointment and O accomplished nothing. I guess that's another problem I have. How could you look at last season and think that wasn't a decent year?

This was Orgerons word

quote:

Orgeron said his love for the state will never fade, and he can’t wait to build LSU into a program that he believes can contend for titles – all titles.

Im not sure why Goldfish thinks we've missed the mark already.
