Lulls? This is the norm pretty much all SEC. We've been fortunate up to this point. I don't care how few points you hold a team to if you can't score you're not gonna win.

That should tell you how flawed NET rankings are. LSU blew out a bunch of average mid major schools in non-confernnce and are barely losing to SEC schools, but still losing, so the NET isn't penalizing them.

Yes, we’re in a lull, a temporary decline in results and production. Lose a couple more and it’s something bigger. Having seen your 12+ hours of melting on this board since the game ended im not sure you can wrap your mind around the fact that we’ve still got half the conference schedule ahead of us. Let’s see where we’re at next week

Yes, out of conference wins that boost our NET ranking despite dropping some conference games. The man knows what he's doing

I'd rather play power 6 schools OOC and lose a few, rather then play a shitty schedule, go undefeated, then bomb out during the SEC schedule cause our team wasn't prepared due to the "generals" genius NET OOC scheduling. At the end of the day humans pick the NCAA teams and if we have a losing record in the SEC (which might happen) we ain't making the tournament, or we're barely sneaking in with a shitty seed. One and done!

TCU and Ole Miss refused to miss.

We refuse to run an offense or just have no clue how to execute the offense we run. Either way, we had plenty of opportunities to get back in the TCU game and to beat OM but lack of rebounding(TCU game), lazy turnovers and empty offensive possessions did us in.

Yeah, the OOC was almost perfect for this year's variation on the NET.

The changes this year seem to have basically just made it KenPom and it disproportionately rewards stat building in blowouts, especially against decent but lower mid-majors who don't stack up physically.

That said, I think there is some legitimate criticism of the schedule this year not including at least a couple of more teams that will give you all you can handle from a physical standpoint.

Lsing a game or two to real Top25 teams does not hurt your NET while actually helping you build a better team.

A little bit of the schedule needs to simply give the fans a couple of exciting high profile games, which can help you improve win or lose instead of just 100% working the NET.

NET rankings still like LSU somehow

It's pretty easy to see why just looking at the Q1/2 & Q3/4 records of all these teams.

LSU won't lose to another Q3/4 team this season & will probably get a few more Q1 wins.
