This team feels more 2007 than 2011 to me... except our D is better. I'm hoping Mett can become Flynn.

The SEC games this year will be close... and I think we can stay undefeated in regulation.
I like the way your roll.

I'm not the least bit nervous either, but we won't come close to putting up 34 points.

Meh, I think we click this game. And if we do, we certainly can hit 34.

Its gonna be a slobber knocker and those physical games are the ones that I feel the most comfortable about. I was nervouse against WVU last year and any team that throws the ball all over the field. UF is trying to transition from a finesse team to a ground and pound team. It will take a year or two more for them to be able to grind it out mentally. I think we take this one. If we get up early we win big, if not we win a close one thanks to Alleman, Wing, and our D.

Very good point and I absolutely agree. I'm not sure you want to "out power" an LSU team. Not good Kemosabie.

LSU and UF have most penalty yards per game in SEC - that + UF's defense, LSU defense and LSU special teams makes me feel good about the game.

As much as I don't want to admit, Met is in for a long day. They will blitz him every play b/c of our terrible pass blocking. We might be able to have some success running the ball. We are not a good football right now. Obviously we can show up and beat Florida and should, but nothing indicates a win for LSU based on the performance. I put all the blame on Les.

Most of us would agree and understand. I guess for myself, knowing the potential of this football team, I keep praying they will put it together. Trying to have a little faith bud. I say run the ball, little play action to keep them honest and play lights out defense. We can only pray we don't continue to make the same mistakes. I trust we don't.

Why are you always so negative about LSU on here? I have never seen you post anything positive. You do realize they have won 17 straight regular season games right now, which is the longest in the nation....they are doing something right.

I honestly think it's just a product of expectation against lesser opponents and under performing, particularly the dropped passes, lack of blocking by the OL, penalties and of course, the fumbles. I'm hoping these all get cleaned up to some degree and if so, and we get a victory in the Swamp, we might find a different view from a lot of the posters/fans.

Bc they are not playing up to the expectations. The Washington game was the only game they played up to it. Penalities, and fumbles are obviously killing us.

Great insight.

So are you going to be watching the game hoping their key players get injured or something?

I certainly wouldn't lose sleep if one or two of the Bama OLinemen tweaked and ankle against Moo U.

I really hate this statement. Maybe if you didn't place YOUR expectations on a bunch of 18-22 year olds, you could enjoy LSU football more. Expectations should be reserved for those you have some influence on (yourself, your kids, your players if you're a coach) ... otherwise, it's senseless to set expectations, because chances are, you'll end up very disappointed.
