We only converted 5 out of 14 3rd. down plays--not good! Michigan probably did as well.

You are a pretty shitty fan. Im sure you werent going to games in the late 90s when we were terrible.
I suffered through every one of those games my friend, in tiger stadium, unlike you who probably turned off your tv in the second quarter.

well Lee was far worse in this catagory.

attempted to scramble for a minimal gain and didn't convert

he wasnt trying for a minimal gain. he was going for a first down and failed to make it.

missed many open WRs downfield and decided to throw to TE instead,

complete bs

should have thrown a pick but it was dropped

Lee did throw a pick and two more were dropped. So its 2-1 in the "should have thrown a pick catagory"

missed Byrd on what should have been a TD,

i guess in the process of growing a vagina during the game you missed the obvious pass interference

not one bit. game was already decided at half time. we were no longer playing app st in the second half.

yeah i agree.

but im not gonna lie, the prospect of 700 yds tolal offense and a 62-0 score was what i wanted.

I also agree with this one. I'm not at the least bit concerned that we were outscored in the 2nd half. The game was pretty much decided by the beginning of the 2nd quarter. Don't forget the National Championship game last year, I mean can you think of what the score would have been in that game if we hadn't of let up at like we did.

no shite, I'm aware Hatch was trying to run for a first down. Problem is, once his primary wr is covered, he takes off. He runs way too soon and each time FAILED to convert while running. He needs to move around in the pocket and look downfield (like Lee did on the TD).

Guess you weren't paying attention. Numerous times, Hatch threw to a double and triple covered TE while Byrd and Lafell had beaten their man downfield.

Thats not the play I'm talking about. I guess in the process of sucking at life, you missed the play where Byrd was 5 yards behind his man in the endzone and Hatch threw a bad ball that was batted down by the linebacker. (this is not the play that you errouneously are thinking about where Byrd was pushed by the DB while running down the sideline.)

Yeah, 700 yds would have been sweet though...

gotcha.

but it still doesnt explain your reasoning that Hatch played terrible. If you say that you have to say Lee played terrible. How do you look over the interception but pick out that Hatch threw a ball too low that the reciever had to fall down to catch it?

I see what you saying about prematurely running though. Just think if he would have commited to the run instead o hesitating he would have picked up 1 or 2 first downs on those runs.

Last year, after the 3rd game, Flynn just stood in the pocket staring at the primary receiver until he got open. If the wr didn't get open he took the sack but we managed to win some games.

It was his first game as a starter. He'll get more comfortable in the pocket. He's got ability to make plays with his legs. It would be nice if his arm was stronger but we knew this was a concern b/4 the game. Quit being a fricking douche. Right now he gives LSU its best chance to win and doesn't need some fricktard sitting in the stands saying he's terrible. He's a walk on (he doesn't have all the God-given natural ability that some of LSU's past qbs had) but he's still managing W's in front of thousands in TS.
