If they do, it's far down the list of things they use to negatively recruit against LSU.
Orgeron's at the top of the list. We change that and a lot of the "negative" posts go away.

I don't think this board needs to be a big LSU P&G kumbaya but I would love it to be less antagonistic in it's critiques. I would also love for people to quit telling people they have act a certain way to be considered a true fan.
Though I must admit I can never understand how people pull for their team to lose because they want a coaching change, etc.

The point is that no, being a cheerleader on this board will not do much other than share your views. But having a constant state a negativity sure as hell won’t help anything.
The people that want to be negative all the time really like to act like the ones that don’t just love Orgeron and eat gumbo daily. Just because someone doesn’t take your extreme negative stance doesn’t mean they are proponents of everything you find wrong with the program. It really is a strange thing.

The same reason they have for the past 10 years, they want to play in the pros. They think they are ready and are not looking at objective input.
Take someone like Kevin Toliver. At one point IIRC he was the very top player in the country (at least was top at his position) in high school. The dude thinks he is better than he is and would get drafted.
We have the most players in the league, do you really not think that we would attract players with their goal to get to the league as fast as possible? Or you honestly think that the kids will risk giving up playing football and further development, despite their draft stock, just because they don’t want to play for a coach that is by all accounts, a “players” coach?

I don’t know what to tell you. I, like most just post about what’s going on with the program.
Some see it as negativity and bashing.
Guess the program should get its act together. When there’s something to be positive about you’ll see the praise. Until then most intelligent fans will continue to be critical. It’s how things work.
Am I optimistic? To an extent. I look forward to LSU football and I root my heart out, but you can’t tell me things look great right now.
Some people just don’t know how to handle the truth or criticism well.

Saivion Smith
Willie Allen
Isaiah Washington
Maea Teuhema
Chidi Okeke
Tyron Johnson
Jazz Ferguson
George Brown

O being the coach is what it is. It won’t last forever, but I’m not going to let it keep me up at night like it seems to let a good faction of our fan base.

I'm sure Saban pulls up message boards rather than showing the National Title trophies or Championship banners, or galleries of drafted players.
The only people who care about message boards are the people who post in message boards

Are you for real? Most of that list is on a D2 squad right now. They wanted playing time, or were straight dismissed from the team.
When it happens at Bama, they call it being processed by the coach, if it happens at LSU, they are running away from playing for the coach.

Well, one of the coaches has been there for over a decade and has a pedigree of success, not to mention how loaded their roster remains.
The other one is 0.
I know it's a subtle difference, but even you should be able to see it.

They go to D2 to remain eligible and play rather than sit out. Speaking of, Saivion Smith is actually playing for Alabama now.

That list of players are at Northwestern State, SLU, MGCC and Tennessee State. They weren’t good enough for LSU.
