Flying in due to work business and the flight doesn't arrive until 2:30pm in NOLA.

I'm assuming I won't get to my truck until 3:00 and won't be in Baton Rouge until 4:15-4:30.

What are my parking options? I don't mind walking a few miles, just don't want to get towed. My tailgate crew parks by Kirby but that lot is usually blocked off around noon, so that option is out.

What do yall have in mind? Streets/parking lots/businesses would be appreciated.

What time is the Alabama game?

If its 7pm, you are not getting to LSU campus from the airport in 90 minutes.

Traffic is an all time nightmare 3-4 hrs before kickoff. You may be in a viscious traffic loop for 90 minutes just trying to find a place to park.

You might make kickoff. Try the Hayfield lots maybe...and prepare to walk for a while.

Stay on I-10 and come in from the north side of campus. Pay $30 to $40 to park in a private lot off of Highland or Nicholson. Another option is Fed Ex (formerly Kinko's) at 159 W. State Street. Very close to campus. Parking is "free" but you have to buy something from the store of at least $30 - $35 I think. At least you get to take office supplies home in return for parking!

Honestly by that time I have no idea where you would park. Hayfield would be the best option though.

Noted. That's not a far walk and it's right next to my tailgate. That's very ideal.

Since you wont be able to park close lock your bike up in the back of your truck park covered in the garage and then just bike it to campus from your parking spot in BFE.

Head straight downtown, park and pony up for a shuttle.

2:30 in NOLA is too late to reasonably expect to park for the Bama game

I would consider parking at City Park by the Tennis Courts and riding a bike into campus down Dalrymple. Or walking.

I'm not opposed to walking. If there's another route, I will do that, though.

There is also a business at 2707 Highland Road (hair salon), north of campus, that is pay to park. A little farther out but may be an option at that hour. I can vouch for the fact that the owner keeps an eye on cars during the game.
